For me there was nothing to double click and no onscreen instructions.Quake III Arena is a critically acclaimed, multiplayer-focused, arena first-person shooter developed by id Software and released in 1999. Double-click "Install Additional Software."Follow the onscreen instructions. If you are installing from the Mac OS X installation discs, insert the "Additional Software & Apple Hardware Test" disc that came with your computer. (which works well enough on my G5 iMac)But I'd really like to be playing Quake III Arena right now! Some links to read: I managed to find classic on one of the disks that came with my iBook, but the instructions non Apple's site on how to install it didn't seem to match the reality of what I found. For one thing, I could only view the contents of the disk in terminal, I couldn't see them in the Finder.Does any one have any idea how to view them in the Finder?I was going for Quake III and when I copied over the os9 system folder to my iMac, OSX seemed to like it but Quake III game me an error and I gave up and bought Quake 4. ![]()
